Welcome to SUN! Our program is packed with new activities and classes to help students succeed!
Dexter McCarty’s SUN Community School is a program of Metropolitan Family Service. MFS is dedicated to building stronger communities by providing services, connecting people with resources, and offering volunteer opportunities throughout the Portland area. SUN provides school-based services including academic enrichment, recreation, and social services for students, parents and neighborhood residents. SUN offers 3 sessions of extended day activities for students during the school year, as well as a youth summer program.
